Did you know that cotton candy dilutes in water? In fact, you can add 5-6 whole pieces of cotton candy in a glass filled with water and they all fit.
I show you how to hydrophobic sand works when you pour it on a glass filled with water.
Another satisfying trick you should try is with watercolors vs water. Simply coat your brush with watercolors and then dip it in a glass filled water.
I also show you how water can become ice while pouring it when it freezes at -18C for 1.5 hours.
I also show you how the accumulation of water works using 5 toothpicks. You simply break then in half and place them all around to form a star shape – make sure none of them are touching. Then, add a drop of water and see them coming together.
Another fun experiment to try is to paint the rainbow on the edges of some toilet tissue. Then, dip it in some water and you’ll see the capillary action – where the water starts to travel upwards.
